Great fun! Lovely atmosphere but would benefit from music next time. Hope it’s on next year!
Thanks for your review - Music is definitely on the agenda for next year - this year our carollers cancelled at short notice
Kate Williams-Brown
Great fun, despite the drizzle! Really helped me get in the festive spirit
Keren Hawkins
Festive fun run
Maybe find a flatter route around the site as the uphill zig zag, although paved was too hard! Also Santa suits are hard to manage so maybe just have festive fancy dress instead?
Janet Acton
Christmassy fun!
Jordan Toulson

Paige Archer

Lots of festive fun for a great cause
Absolutely loved this event and already planning to enter next year. It was a great atmosphere with very friendly and supportive people at every turn. Thanks to all the organisers and volunteers behind the scenes and standing out there in the pouring rain.

A great pre Xmas fun run
My Santa suit suffered several wardrobe malfunctions, so next time I will wear my own Xmas outfit :-)

Great Fun
Great event- maybe good to have some Christmas music as going around the course. A tea and mince pie tent as cafe got very over whelmed.
Would definitely do again next year!
Many thanks for your review. Unfortunately, our carollers cancelled on us last week. We will definitely be having music next year!

Well organised, fun event despite the weather.
Great fun, friendly atmosphere and well organised. Chip timing probably not necessary. Would definitely do next year and hopefully get to see some of the scenery. Well done Stroud Athletic Club.
Helen Pemberton
A fun run around for a good cause

Great Santa atmosphere but poor sinage to event
Even after doing a test run to find the site, I wasn't sure as there were no arrows, banners, no signage at all and I still managed to miss the turn on the day. It was a hard course (long uphill at the end) but a fun atmosphere and inclusive as you could walk it and only do one lap. I was glad to be supporting Allsorts as a family member used to attend their youth club.
Thanks for your review - we will aim to improve signage on the way to the event for next year.

Very well organised, super friendly and great cafe at the end

Well organised, plenty of marshals. Shame about the weather!!
There was one corner that was quite muddy not far from the start. Maybe that spot could be avoided in future.

Great new local Christmas event, i hope it earned enough money for the charity to be an annual event
Christmas music outside would have enhanced the atmos
Did numbers and chip timing seem daunting to non runners? Are they needed? Don't have them as non runners won't want them and few committed runners won't think of this as a 'race' or 'timed run'
Hi there, Thanks for your review and we will take on board the comments about timing and numbers.
